Giovanni Arciprete was born on August 15, 1939 in Grumo Nuvano, Italy to Giuseppe Arciprete and Filomena Cirillo.

He is the last of six siblings and is now reunited with them.

Giovanni served two years in the Italian military. He was also an excellent salesman.

He met his beautiful bride and their hometown and they wed and left for America in 1966 to start a better life.

They settled in New York and started their family. Giovanni worked in several bakeries throughout New York also owning his own before before coming to Florida Florida in 1978. He worked at Verner's Pastry Shop in Jupiter, Florida before opening St. Lucie Bakery in 1989. His dedication and worth ethic has been the backbone of St. Lucie Bakery and continues to hold it up till this day. What started as a small donut shop with coffee became a landmark to the treasure coast and surrounding areas.

His greatest pride and joy were his seven grandchildren, Anthony and Gabriella Borges, Madelyn, Olivia, Emma, Giovanni and Rosalina Arciprete, they taught him unconditional love.

Giovanni lived his last days (months) at the Treasure Coast Hospice inpatient unit. The care and love was beyond exceptional.

Giovanni is survived by his beautiful wife Rosa, his daughter, Nancy Borges and her husband, Frank; his son, Joseph and wife, Kelley; and his youngest son, John Louis and his wife, Maria.
