Obituary of Giuseppe Grasso
Joseph Grasso, 88, of Jensen Beach, died January 2, 2009 at Palm City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Palm City. He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Joe was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during WWII. He was a carpenter before retirement, and was a member of the NE Regional Council of Carpenters, A.F.L.-C.I.O in Boston, MA. He has lived in Florida for 22 years, having moved from Woburn, MA, and lived in Jensen Beach for the last 9 years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Zina Grasso of Jensen Beach; daughter, Camille Geoghegan of Stuart; sons, Salvatore Grasso of Jensen Beach, Dominick Grasso of Melrose, MA, and Joseph Grasso of Orange, MA; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 9 - 11:00AM, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Noon, Tuesday at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach.
Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, with Military Honors by the U.S. Army.
