Obituary

Gloria J.Blackard age 75 of Stuart, Florida passed in peace after a protracted debilitating illness.

She was born to Ann and Harris Heisel of Miami, on November 9th, 1945, she was a graduate of Pompano Beach Senior High School (1963) and attended Florida State University where she met her future husband John S. Blackard, they married in 1964.

Gloria was a devoted loving wife , mother, and grandmother, her family was of paramount importance to her. She was an avid tennis player, she loved spending time on the ocean scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing the Florida Keys, Bahamas and local waters.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dr. John S. Blackard, her two sons ,John M. (Rhonda) Robert H. (Diana) grandsons , Rusty (Sara) Christopher (Mandy) Austin, Samuel, granddaughter Kylie and 2 great grandsons.

Gloria's radiant smile and enthusiasm for life will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on May 15th at 11am at Forest Hills Chapel, Palm City, Florida.
