Gloria Kreuter Meehan Wolfner, affectionately known as "Cookie" passed away to be with her Lord on August 11, 2021 at 89 years old. Gloria Sally Kreuter was born in Maplewood, NJ and summered in Spring Lake, NJ where she met and married George Meehan Jr. Together  they raised their five children. Cookie was married to John W. Wolfner at the time of her death. She attended Columbia High School and went on to graduate from Wheaton College in Massachusetts. In recent years she was a resident of Palm City, FL. She lived at Monarch Country Club and previously had been a resident of Harbor Ridge. She loved playing bridge, dining out with friends and exercising her mastery of crossword puzzles. She was an avid golfer and a devoted parishioner of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City. Gloria was recognized around town as "the lady in the hat". Of course no one should ever wear a hat after 5:00 PM and she never did. Gloria maintained an elegant warm presence throughout her life and always drew attention when she entered a room. Most of all she was a devoted wife and mom who always had time for all of us. She leaves behind her loving husband Jack Wolfner and her children George, Henry, Gloria "Tucker", Jude and David. Also grandchildren Henry, Blaine, Olivia, Phoebe, Jones, Jude, David, Ronnie, Stephen, Thaddeus, Harlan, Mary, Julian and great grandchild Abraham. Gloria has a brother Henry "Bud" Kreuter who survives her with his children Heidi, Georgia, Henry Jr. and their families. Services will be held in New Jersey at a later date.
