Gloria J. Solorzano, 86, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on December 7, 2017 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay Madeira House, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, she had been a resident of Palm City for 11 years coming from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She came to Florida from Brooklyn, New York in 1990.

Before retiring she was employed by American Express in Fort Lauderdale for 23 years. She was member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City, Florida.

Survivors include her daughter, Ana Solorzano and her husband, Cesar of Palm City; her grandson, Jose A. Solorzano and his wife, Gabriela of Miami, Florida; her great grandchildren, Nicolas A. Solorzano, Isabela Solorzano and Joaquin Solorzano and 5 siblings in Ecuador. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Solorzano in 2007, her grandson, Cesar A. Solorzano Jr and a sister.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow immediately in the Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
