Hannah M. Jimenez (formerly Horigan), 89, of Port St. Lucie, died Wednesday, November 22nd at her home in Port St. Lucie after a long illness. Hannah moved to Port St Lucie 32 years ago from Brentwood, Long Island, New York.

She retired from the Brentwood School District, where she enjoyed working for many years. She was an avid reader and never without a book in her hand.

In addition to her parents, Jeremiah and Mary Horigan, she was predeceased by her devoted husband, Rafael J. Jimenez of Port St. Lucie, and four brothers John, Jeremiah, Michael and William Horigan.

She is survived by her brother Edward (Phoebia) Horigan of Freehold, New Jersey, her three loving daughters, Kathleen (Gary) Hebert of Hooksett, New Hampshire, Eileen Jimenez of Elgin, Illinois, and Patricia (James) Guerne of Port St. Lucie, Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Sean (Michelle) Vogel, Kelly (Paul) Nigro, Donald (Kylie) Muller, James and Megan Guerne. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Camryn and Cassidy Nigro, Kenzie, Charlotte and Grayson Muller, and Mikal Vogel.

Visitation hours are from 10:00 am to noon on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, Florida. A service of remembrance will be held at noon at the same location, with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
