Obituary of Harold Koenig
Dr. Harold H. Koenig, 93, of Jensen Beach, Florida, died September 25, 2010 in Leesburg, Florida.
Born in Edwardsport, Indiana, he lived in Jensen Beach for 23 years coming from Rockville, Indiana.
During World War II he served in the U.S Army Air Force attaining the rank of Major.
Before retiring, he had been an oral surgeon in Rockville for over 45 years.
He was a Mason and a Shriner and was the Past Grand Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Indiana. He also was involved with the Masonic youth organizations, the Rainbow Girls and the DeMolay for Boys,
Survivors include his wife Bobbie Webb Koenig of Leesburg; a son Keith Koenig of Terre Haute, Indiana; a daughter Penny Williams of South Bend, Indiana; a sister Helen Smith, Vincennes, Indiana and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce A. Koenig in 2003 and a daughter Connie Buchanan.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on October 1, 2010 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Palm City Chapel with a funeral service at 1:00 PM with Rev. L.C. Campbell officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Palm City Chapel.
