Obituary of Harriet Burkhardt
Harriet Lorraine Burkhardt, 88, of Palm City, Florida, died December 15, 2009 at Gardens Retreat Assisted Living, Palm City.
Born in Lynbrook, New York, she lived in Palm City for 14 years coming from Wantagh, New York.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Leonard Burkhardt and Thomas Burkhardt both of Palm City; a sister Gertrude Kemper of Ronkonkoma, New York; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Burkhardt in 2001.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on December 17, 2009 with a service at 1:00 PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home - Palm City Chapel with Rev. Thomas Hartley Pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Palm City, officiating . Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City, FL.
For those who wish, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Community Care for the Stuart/Martin County Support Group, 800 Northpoint Parkway, Suite 101B, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 in Mrs. Burkhardt's memory.
