Obituary of Harry Pinkman

Harry J. Pinkman, 89, of Stuart, FL, died April 5, 2014 at Palm City Nursing and Restorative Care. He was born in Hoboken, New Jersey and had been a resident of Sebastian, Florida for 26 years before moving to Stuart. He also had resided in Casselberry, Florida. He moved to Florida from Hoboken.

During World War II he served in the US Navy as a radarman.

Before retiring he had been a lieutenant with the Hoboken Police Department and 10 years the Central Florida Disaster Preparedness Agency.

He was of the Catholic Faith. He was past president of the Hoboken PBA and had been a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

Survivors include his sons, Harry A. Pinkman and his wife Carmella of Palm City, FL, Paul J. Pinkman and his wife Betty Ann of Secaucus, New Jersey and Dennis M. Pinkman and his wife Janice of Edgewater, Florida; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Marion C. Pinkman

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on April 22, 2014 followed by inurnment in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City with military honors provided by the US Navy.
