Obituary of Harry Timmerman
Harry C. Timmerman, 89, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Harper House, Stuart.
Born in Burlington, Iowa, he had been a resident of Stuart from 1954 to 2009. He moved to Georgia in 2009 and returned to Stuart in 2010.
During World War II, he served with the U.S. Navy Seabees.
Before he retired was the owner of BEMA Construction a marine construction company.
Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Chenoweth of Stuart, FL; his brothers, Fredrick Timmerman of Burlington, Iowa and Jack Timmerman of Stuart; his sister, Dorothy Rodin of Xenia, OH; grandchildren, Amanda L. Carbajal-Martel and husband Hilario of Stuart, Roy E. Stone Jr. and wife Jaime of Canton, GA, William C. Stone of Bristol, FL Kayla A. Feliz and husband Tony of Jensen Beach, FL, Donald J. Chenoweth, Jr. of Stuart, FL, his great grandchildren, Alejandro C. Stone and Nancy Gamez of White City, FL, David E. Carbajal-Martel, 3, of Stuart, FL, Millennia N. Stone, 13, and Roy E. Stone III, 10, of Canton, GA, Tyler S. Stone of Johnson City, TN, Elizabeth R. Wyant, Amanda J. Stone, William C. Stone, Jr., of Fulton, NY, Kyler J. Marlin, 10, Rowan M. Turner, 7, and Daylan R. Feliz ,3, of Jensen Beach, FL and Grace R. McCall, 10, of Live Oak, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife Erma Timmerman; a grandson Chance D. Marlin and six siblings.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Interment with military honors, provided by the U.S. Navy, will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
