Helen Marie Barrett age 82 passed away peacefully on August 28. 2026. She was born on January 9, 1944 in Louisville Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Anthony and Dorothy Barrett. She was preceded in death by her son Edward Drew McDaniel (Eddie) her sister's Dottie McCandless (William SR.) and MaryJo Blackwell (Jack) and her nephews Jimmy Barrett, Helen will be remembered and missed by her brother Joseph Anthony Barrett JR, (uncle Joe) his wife Karen and nephews Jason, Michael and(Jimmy) whom preceded in death before his Aunt Helen, Karen daughter's Patty and Tammy Hale: Helen had three nephews from sister Dottie, Patrick (Kim) their two girls, William Jr. (Karen) their three boys and Timothy (Ravilia) two Boys. She had two nephews from Mary jo, John Jr. (Michelle) their two girls and Chris (Wendy) their two boys , She loved all of her family members. Also she loved her chosen daughter of love Cher and her husband Ryan Rice. She was Mamaw to her grandkids by love Randy and Riley.

Helen was born in Louisville Kentucky also Helen lived in several South Florida cities before settling in Martin County in 1974, One of her favorite jobs was working in the Palm City elementary cafeteria. She was the bookkeeper for many years for E.R. McDaniel construction Company, She was very family oriented she Taught Randy her oldest grandson how to make Scrambled eggs when he was three and make homemade donuts. She took him fishing and he caught his first fish at the age of four. Riley her youngest grandson would Spend every Wednesday with her even after he graduated they would go to thrift stores where they looked and bought their hidden treasures and he would help her do things around the house whenever she asked him to and They would work in her garden and he would help her with her dog Luke, she loved her dog so much. She loved serving her community through community activities going to the Moose lodge, Eagles lodge and VFW. She dearly loved the excitement of the casinos whether she was winning or not always ready to go. Very active, fun to be with, loved life and treasured everyone in her life her friends and her family. Everyone always Welcome.
