Obituary of Helen Brooks
Helen M. Brooks, 92, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at her residence.
Born in New York, NY, she moved to Port St. Lucie in 1982 coming from Delray Beach, where she had resided for six years.
She was a homemaker and member of the Roman Catholic faith.
Survivors include her sons, Edward Brooks Port St. Lucie; Charles Brooks of New Jersey and Lawrence Brooks of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Elaine Zerby and Beverly Wheaton both of Vero Beach; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; brother, Rocky Zaccheo of Port St. Lucie and sister, Nancy Perrone of Elmont, LI, NY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Brooks.
Services: Calling hours will be 2 PM to 5 PM, Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, October 29, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Joseph Quinn officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
