Obituary of Helen Guile

Helen Davis Guile, of Stuart, died June 2, 2008 at Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart. She was born in New Jersey, grew up in Rockville Centre, NY, was a longtime resident of Huntington, NY and moved to Stuart from Amityville, NY. She graduated from Southside High School, Rockville Centre and from St. Lawrence University, St. Lawrence, New York in 1942.

She was active in the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was also a member of the Martin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Coconut Point Yacht Club.

She is survived by five children, Dickson B. Chip Guile Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL, Susan Souder of Gaithersburg, MD, Nancy Guile of Greenville, WV, Keith S. Guile of Bahama, NC and Leslie Puglisi of Taylors, SC; sister, Jane Gunther of Gulf Stream, FL; dear friend Mary Lloyd Burroughs of Ticonderoga, NY; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on June 8, 2008 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, Florida. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
