Obituary

Helen Mary McKenna, 98, of Stuart, Florida and Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died peacefully on May 31, 2022.

Helen was first and foremost the matriarch of the McKenna clan; loving wife of the late Sidney F. McKenna, and mother of Lynne (Robert) Hoss, Dennis McKenna, Patrick (Carolyn) McKenna, Mary Beth (Mark) Raimondi, Maureen (Joe) Anderson, and Christopher (Laura) McKenna. She was also the proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Helen was known for her various creative endeavors, ranging from dance, to sewing and gardening, as well as painting, sculpture, metal and glass work. Helen was a devoted and loyal friend to many, and a gracious and elegant hostess for many gatherings with many friends and family.  She generously and tirelessly shared her time, talent and treasure with many organizations, including St. Regis, St. Christopher, Marian and Brother Rice High Schools, The Christ Child Society, the Shawl Ministry of Mariner Sands Country Club, and the Dunbar Early Learning Center.  She was a committee follower of the faith, with special devotion to Mary and the rosary.

Helen will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  The rosary will be held in the Marian High School chapel (7225 Lasher Rd, Bloomfield. Park in front and use the front and use the front door) at 7 pm on June 14 th , with visitation at 6 pm.

The funeral will be held at St Regis Church (3695 Lincoln Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI) at 10 am on June 15 th , with visitation at 9:30 am, at the church. The funeral can be watched live online through this link: :https://stregis.org/video/live/"
