Obituary of Helen Scott

Helen Scott, 89, of Stuart, passed away May 30, 2009, at Martin Nursing and Restorative Care in Stuart. She was born in Artesia, FL, and had been a resident of Stuart since 1975, having moved from Jacksonville.

She had been a member of the Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church in Stuart, leader of the Learning to Live Without Group, and taught Sunday School for 40 years at various Baptist churches.

She is survived by daughters, Sandra Dunham of Stuart and Debbie Kay Scott of Jupiter; sons, Dwight Scott and Andy Scott, both of Stuart; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Scott; sisters, Frances and Naomi; and brother, Bill.

A graveside service will be 2:30PM, Monday, at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
