Henrietta "Cricket" Larson, 104, of Hobe Sound, FL passed away peacefully on March 14, 2021, surrounded by her family.
She will be greatly missed.
She was born in Hawthorne, NJ and after graduating high school earned her nursing degree at St. Mary's Nursing School.
Cricket was a long-time member of Community Baptist Church in Stuart. She played the piano and organ at church services both at Community Baptist Church and at Stuart Lodge. She loved to sing and recite poetry. She enjoyed swimming, walking, and playing games (Rummy Cube and Skippo and other card games) with her family. She had many friends and was a kind, fun, generous and complimentary person.
She was a spokesperson for Floridians Fighting Falls.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arnold, and her beautiful daughter, Jewel Ann. She is survived by her two sons, John (Margaret) and Martin (Eileen]; five grandsons and seven great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am March 18, 2021, at Forest Hills in Palm City, FL.
