Obituary of Henry Erdman

Henry Hank Light Erdman, 86, died Thursday, February 15, 2007 at his residence.

Born in Lebanon, PA, he has resided in Stuart for 34 years, coming from Upper Marlboro, MD.

Prior to retirement he was Director of Programming for the I. R. S. and was employed with U. S. Civil Service for 32 years. He was a member of the National Association of Federal Retired Employees.

He was a Army Air Force veteran of World War II.

He was a member Redeemer Lutheran Church of Stuart.

He was a member of Martin County Orchid Society.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth A. Erdman, sister, Anne Erdman and brother, Herbert Erdman.

He is survived by his son, William Leon Erdman of Jensen Beach; daughter, Sandra Ann Stapleton of Mineral Wells, WV; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be 6 to 8 PM, Friday, February 23, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Funeral Services will be 11 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Stuart, with Rev. David Albers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park with military honors provided by U. S. Air Force.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Sound Fund, 2450 S. E. Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL 349996.
