Ida Nick, 96, of Palm City, Florida, died May 10, 2011 at Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart, Florida.
Born in Gottschee, Austria, she lived in Palm City, coming from Maspeth, New York
Before retiring she had been a production worker with Pfizer Pharmaceutical.
She attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
Survivors include a son, Andrew Nick of Mineola, New York; daughters, Carolyn Maue of Palm City and Gerda Chetaitis of Ringwood, New Jersey; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Andrew Nick in 2000.
Local arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. Arrangements in New York are under the direction of Kodis Funeral Home in Maspeth, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 14, 2011 is St. Stanislaus Church, Maspeth with interment in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
