Obituary of Irene Karcher
Irene Karcher, 80, of Port St. Lucie, died March 4, 2013 at her daughter's residence. She was born in Miami and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 18 years, moving from Miami. She had been a payroll supervisor in housing development before retirement. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Birchland of Port St. Lucie and Debbie Karcher of Pembrooke Pines; son, David Karcher of Homestead; 2 grandchildren and brother, Harry Athalis of Port St. Lucie. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Benson, Venus Poulis, Charlotte Miller, Christine Rios and Helen Kahill, and her former husband, David H. Karcher.
Visitation: 9:30AM - 10:00AM, Saturday, March 9 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City chapel.
Funeral Service: 10:00AM, Saturday, March 9 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City chapel.
Interment will follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
