Obituary

Jack Vito Brucato passed away peacefully at home in Port St. Lucie Florida on May 12, 2023 with his wife by his side.

Jack is survived by his wife Joy Brucato. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Prudence Brucato. Jack was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Queens Village where Jack was a graduate of Martin Van Buren High School and after serving in the Navy moved to Florida with his parents.  Jack spent many years as a young man traveling the country as a construction worker.  After many years in construction Jack became a Florida State Trooper.  After leaving the State Police Jack started his own international security company.  Jack's many hobbies included archeology and miniature train design.  Jack was a member of the St. Lucie Train Club.  He also enjoyed his trips to various casinos.  Jack's careers gave him the opportunity to meet and become friends with so many people, friendships that have lasted decades. He will be greatly missed by his close friends John Jorgensen and Greg Jorgensen.  He was loved by many and will be missed.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday May 16, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City at  10:00 am.
