Obituary of Jack Hollis
Jack L. Hollis, 83, of Port St. Lucie, passed away March 12, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 10 years, having moved from Mechanicsburg, PA. Jack was a veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving as a Lieutenant during WWII. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He was President of Carlisle Tire & Rubber before retirement. Jack was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Valeria W. Hollis of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Joyce Miller and her husband, Thomas of Johnson City, TN; April Domesek and her husband, James of Philadelphia, PA and Ft. Lauderdale; son, Richard Hollis of Westmister, CO; daughters; Carol Kunrath and her husband Peter of Pottstown, PA; Patricia Poggio and her husband John of Cumming, GA; and four grandchildren, Dylan and Benjamin Kunrath, Hollis and Lia Poggio.
A funeral service will be 11:00AM, Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
Interment will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
