Jack Olen White, 88, of Port St. Lucie, died Sunday, March 2, 2025 of mesothelioma.

He was born in Enid, Oklahoma and called Port St. Lucie his home for the past 47 years. Prior to his retirement he worked primarily in the nuclear and fossil fuel industry in a management position throughout the US and in Suriname, South America.

As an avid traveler he visited 47 states. He loved boating, camping and golf. He also studied genealogy and the Bible having completed all but 45 pages in the end.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Reva Darlene; three daughters, Kathy White of Port St Lucie, Sue Hunton of Blairsville, Georgia and Tammy Jacobs of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Survivors include five grandchildren, Scott, Christine, Melissa, Brittany, and Zachary; five great-grandchildren, Glynn, Dallas, William, Jack, and Charlotte; and one great-great grandson Sawyer, and his soon to arrive brother, Lucian along with two sons-in-law, Dale, and Randy; two grandsons-in-law, Kyle, and Brandon; and one great-granddaughter-in-law, Emilee.

Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
