Jacob (Jack) Brauntuch passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026. He was born on February 24, 1925, in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Jack lived a remarkable 101 years, a testament to a life well-lived. He was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Alice, with whom he shared 75 beautiful years of marriage.
His legacy lives on through his children, Glenn (Michelle), Troy, and Randye, along with his three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A proud and honorable veteran, Jack served his country with distinction as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Army. His bravery and dedication were recognized with the awarding of a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star, symbols of his courage and commitment during times of war. Jack dedicated his career to social services, both professionally and voluntarily.
The family invites all who knew and loved Jack to celebrate his extraordinary life at a memorial service on July 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park & Palm City Chapel, located at 2001 SW Murphy Rd., Palm City, FL. 34990.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Sandhill Cove Foundation, Inc., 1500 SW Capri ST. Palm City, FL. 34990, a cause close to Jack's heart, in honor of his memory.
