James W. Daughtry, 73, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on May 20, 2018 under the tender care of Treasure Coast Hospice.

James was a native Floridian, earning a BA degree from Florida Atlantic University and an MA from Florida International University.  Following a successful career in senior management for multiple major corporations, he returned to Florida on 2002 ans finally settled in Palm City for 6 years ago.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother be is survived by his wife of 24 years Deborah Daughtry of Palm City.  He is also survived by his children; Justin Daughtry and his wife Julie of San Mateo, CA; Kevin Daughtry of Whiting, NJ; Shea Trautmann and her husband Michael of Philadelphia, PA; and Robert Piantoni and his wife Katherine of Palm City. Close to his heart are his four grandchildren, Brennen, Kaylin, Matthew and Asher. He will be forever remembered by his brother Eugene Daughtry of Maitland, FL.
