James Frederick Dunton, (77), of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on April 30, 2020.

James and his wife Pauline of 57 years, loved to travel together to various locations around the globe, most recently an Alaskan cruise.  James was known to cultivate relationships and was a great husband, father, and friend to many.  He will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Pauline;  sons: James (Jennifer) F. Dunton III, of Taunton, MA, and Michael E Dunton, of Portland, ME; daughters: Nancy Anne League of Palm City, FL, Kellie League of Port Saint Lucie, FL. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private service will be held at Forest Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 6 ^th , followed by burial at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be to the American Cancer Society in James's name.
