Obituary of James Hutchison
James Oliver Hutchison, 89, of Port St. Lucie, FL, died March 3, 2011 at his residence. Born in Ohio Township, OH, he was a resident of Port St. Lucie and Palm City, FL for over 25 years coming from Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He had been a longtime resident of Miami. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a captain. Before retirement, he was the personnel Direct for Florida Power and Light for 43 years. He formed the Personnel Association of Greater Miami, he was instrumental in forming the Miami Springs Baptist Church and was a member of Evergreen Country Club, Palm City. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Mandelbloom of Port St. Lucie; a son James B. Hutchison of North Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Nicole H. Joslin and Adam M. Mandelbloom and 1 great grandchild Addison Joslin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Claire B. Hutchison in 1999 and brothers, John R. Hutchison, George P. Hutchison and William R. Hutchison. Visitation will be from to 4:00 to 5:00 PM, March 9, 2011 Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with a service at 5:00 PM with Military Honors, provided by the U.S. Air Force. Entombment will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
