Obituary of James Mock
James J. Mock, 83, Palm City, FL, passes away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at his home.
Born in Elizabethtown, NC, he had been a resident of Palm City for 38 years coming from Deerfield Beach, FL.
During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army.
Before retiring he was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Genevieve Mock of Palm City; his daughter, Deborah Thomas and her husband William of Lake Worth, FL; his son, James J. Mock Jr. and his wife, Deborah of Fort Pierce; his sisters, Katie Gossett and Martha Mock, both of Tucson, AZ; his brothers, C.D. Mock Jr. and his wife Barbara of London, England and Johnny Mock of California; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters, Millie Hardwick and Ethel Mock and a brother Robert Mock.
There will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City with military honors provided by the U.S. Army.
