Obituary for James C. Moss

James C Moss, 84, of Palm City, Florida, passed away, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at his residence in Palm City.

Born on July 31, 1930 in Miami, Florida to Henry Burton Moss and Florence Canfield Moss. His family relocated to Key West, where he later graduated from Key West High School in 1948. A 3rd generation Floridian who was a veteran of both the US Air Force and the US Army. After 37 year of service with Florida Power and Light her retired to Big Pine Key and later to Palm City, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Margaret G. Moss of 50 years.

Survivors include sons David B. Moss and his wife Vivian of Palm City, Florida and James Andrew Moss and his wife Anne of Cutler Bay, Florida: Sisters Henrietta C. Moss of Honolulu, Hawaii and Margaret Roper of Coral Gables, Florida; four grandchildren David and Steven of Palm City and Emily and Hannah of Cutler Bay, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: Visitation will be Monday October 20, 2014 at Forest hills Funeral home in Palm City, Florida from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by service at 11:00 AM with reverend Kristen Bjorn, Pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
