Obituary of James Reeder

James E. Reeder, 42, of Deerfield Beach, died unexpectedly March 8, 2009. James was born in Vineland, NJ, and moved to Deerfield Beach from his birthplace. He was a firefighter and paramedic for the Martin County Fire Rescue, and was on the Technical Extrication Rescue Team, which specializes in underwater rescues and rescues from heavy vehicles. He was a member of the Martin County Professional Firefighters, and Calvary Chapel in Ft. Lauderdale. He was a surfer, scuba diver and motorcycle enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Reeder and daughter, Avery Reeder of Deerfield Beach; parents, James Wesley Reeder and Betty Reeder, brother, Stephen Reeder and sister, Darlene Asselta all of Vineland, NJ.

A gathering for friends and family will be held 11:00AM - 12:30 PM, Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Calvary Chapel, 2401 W. Cypress Creek Rd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309. A memorial service will be at 12:30PM at the Church. A reception will follow.

The family has requested that donations may be made to Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale, which will be directed to benefit his daughter, Avery and the Martin County Professional Firefighters Memorial Fund. Please make checks payable to Calvary Chapel Ft.
