Obituary of Jan Minkler

Jan Minkler, 80, of Palm City, FL, passed away July 2, 2014 at his home. Born in Oelwein, Iowa, he had been a resident of Palm City 8 years, coming from Fort Lauderdale. He moved to Florida from Annapolis, MD.

Prior to retirement he had been a pilot for American Airlines for over 34 years.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Gwen Minkler of Palm City; his son Steve Minkler and his wife Lauren of Palm City; his daughter, Judy Seibel of Churchton, MD; his brother, Donald Montez and his wife Mary of Calistoga, CA; grandchildren, Ross Seibel and his wife Stephanie of Churchton, Carley Minkler of Boston, MA and Jackson Minkler of Palm City and two great grandchildren, Ryland Seibel and Addison Seibel.

There will be a memorial service at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
