Jane P. Rivas, 85, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on February 28, 2018 at the Palm City Nursing and Restorative Care Center.

Born in Haverhill. Massachusetts, she had been a resident of Palm City for over 40 years coming from Glastonbury, Connecticut.

She had received a BA degree from Bryant University, Rhode Island.

Before retiring she had been a personal secretary.  She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.

Survivor's include her sister, Margaret "Marnie" Johnson of Palm City; her brothers, Michael Phair and his wife Pat and Thomas Phair and his wife Carol all of Pittsfield, Massachusetts and 16 nieces and nephews including Amy Hickingbotham of Morris Connecticut and Mark Hickingbotham of Margate, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Rivas Jr. and her twin sister, Joan Hickingbotham.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
