Janet Etchison Miles, 97, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on December 30, 2017 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Frederick, Maryland, she had been a resident of Palm City for 19 years coming from Rockville, Maryland.

Before retiring she was a data processing manager for the Montgomery County Maryland Board of Education. She was a member of the Grace M.E. Church, Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Survivors include her son, Thomas E. Miles and his wife, Linda of Palm City; her grandchildren, Tina Leonardo and her husband Scott of Stuart, Florida and Stephen Miles and his wife, Angela of Woodbury, Minnesota and her great grandchildren, Hannah and Hailey Leonardo and Thomas, Taylor, Tessa, Truman and Tavin Miles.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Miles.
