Obituary of Jayne Granuzzo

Jayne Frances Granuzzo age 80 of Stuart, FL passed away on May 27, 2015 surrounded by her loving children. Jayne passed away on her husband Anthony's birthday and is now with him celebrating together; he predeceased her on May 7, 2015.

Mrs. Granuzzo was a stay at home mom to five children. Later on she worked for Herman Poritzky Real Estate in Peekskill and Sears & Roebuck. Along with her husband Anthony, Jayne co-founded A & J Washroom Accessories, Inc. in New Windsor, NY.

Jayne was born in the Bronx on January 12, 1935 to Raymond and Alice Frye Smith. On February 16, 1952 she married Anthony Granuzzo in St. Anthony's Chapel at Immaculate Conception Church in the Bronx. Jayne was a past president and member of the Christopher Columbus Ladies Auxiliary of Peekskill.

She is survived by her five children; Robert "Bobby" Granuzzo of Putnam Valley, NY and Stuart, FL, Donna Granuzzo of Wappingers Falls, NY, John (Cathy) Granuzzo of Port St. Lucie, FL, James (Nanette) Granuzzo of Green Brook, NJ and Debra Salch of Port St. Lucie, FL. Eight grandchildren; Glen, Laura, Vincent, Melanie, Michelle, James, Emily and Peter. Eight great grandchildren; Evan, Kaiya, Cody, Leah, Anthony, Sophia, Aria and Trey. Also surviving is a brother, Robert Smith and very special friends Frank Grecco, his wife Jeanette and their family of Mahopac.

Visitation will be held today, Friday, May 29th from 1pm to 3pm at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Rd., Palm City, FL. Funeral Services will also be held in New York at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, followed by Funeral Service at Grace Methodist Church, Putnam Valley and Entombment at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
