Jean M. Sampson, 89, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on April 7, 2017 at the Trust Bridge Hospice, Boynton Beach, Florida.
Born in Larksville, Pennsylvania she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 30 years coming from Edison, New Jersey.
She was a homemaker and had been a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie where she was one of the founders of the Seniors Club.
Survivors include her sons, William Kenneth Sampson and his wife Peggy Sue of Blairsville, GA, Henry Jerome Sampson Jr. and his wife Maria of Oak Park, IL, James Joseph Sampson of Wray, GA and Kevin Michael Sampson and his wife Cathy of Palm Beach, FL; her brother John Saxton; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Jerome Sampson Sr., her son Shawn Sampson and her brothers, James Saxton, Joseph Saxton and William Saxton.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City, FL with a Vigil Prayer Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. Interment will follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
