Obituary of Jeanette Stevens
JEANETTE B. STEVENS, age 91, of Palm City, Florida passed away on April 13, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Stevens was born on December, 14, 1916 in Oakfield, New York to Carl and Bino (Hunt) Burr. She came to Florida in 1986 from Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Stevens was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan College where she attained her Bachelor of Arts Degree. She was of christian faith and was a member of Palm City Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Donald G. Stevens of Palm City, FL who has been her best friend for 85 years, her daughter Diane (Rev. George) McIlrath of St. Lucie West, FL, two grandsons; Steven (Trina) McIlrath of Chicago, IL and Jeffrey (Heather) McIlrath of Morrison, IL. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Palm City Presbyterian Church, 2700 Martin Highway, Palm City, FL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to a church or favorite charity of donors choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthills funerals.com
