Obituary of Jeanne Qualmann
Jeanne Leavitt Qualmann, 87, died Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart.
Born in Alpena, MI, she has resided in Palm City since 1995, coming from Deerfield Beach, FL. She had moved to Florida in 1974.
She was a retired realtor, having worked in south Florida for 28 years.
She attended the Palm City Presbyterian Church.
She was a proud member of the Republican Party and former chairperson for the Nevada County Republicans.
Survivors include her six children, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Q. Hopkins in 1944, William H. Dryden in 1969, and Edward Qualmann in 2006.
Services: Private Committal services will be held in Evergreen Cemetery in Alpena, MI at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City.
