Obituary of Jennie Tekin
Jennie P. Tekin, 95, of Palm City, Florida, died December 11, 2010 at her home.
Born in Barre, Massachusetts, she had been a resident of Palm City for 35 years coming from Hollywood, Florida. She came to Florida from Wickford, Rhode Island and was a long time resident of Johnston, Rhode Island.
She was an assistant administrator with the U.S. Navy Supply Department at the Quonset Point Naval Station for over 30 years. She was a member of The Church of the Advent, Palm City. In Hollywood she was a member of "The Secretaries" Club.
Survivors include a brother Thomas Palazzi of Hooksett, New Hampshire; a sister, Anna Carlisle of Johnston, Rhode Island; a step son Paul J. Tekin Jr. of North Pole, Alaska; 2 step grandchildren; 4 nieces; a nephew; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul J. Tekin, a brother John Palazzi and sisters Mary Palazzi and Lucy Palazzi.
Services will be private. Entombment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
