JEREMIAH THOMAS BRENNAN

Jeremiah (Jerry) Brennan, 91, passed away  August 28, 2018 at Sandhill Cove.  He was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Jeremiah and Loretto  (Murtagh) Brennan and lived in Garden City, New York until he retired to Florida in 1990.  Jerry is survived by his loving wife Regina (Jean) of 64 years and his children Kathleen (late Timothy) Christian of Penllyn, Pa. Michael (Karen) of Rye, NY, Regina (Gina) of  Phoenixville, Pa, and Patricia (John)  Emmert of Garden City, NY.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Jerry was a General Agent with the Guardian Life Insurance Company and a partner with Spaulder and Warshall Agency until he retired in 1987.  He was President of Pension and Profit Sharing Planning Company, Inc. and JTB Actuarial Consultants, Inc.  He was a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, American Society of Pension Actuaries and the American Society of CLU and ChFC.

Jerry graduated from Fordham University and served in the Army 1947 – 1948.

He was a member of Willoughby Golf Club in Stuart, past member of BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens and the Garden City Country Club in Garden City, New York.  Jerry loved the game of bridge and he achieved his goal of Life Master.

A celebration of his life will be held at Holy Redeemer Church, Palm City on Monday September 17, 10:00 am.  The congregation is invited to join us at Sandhill Cove for a reception.
