Obituary of Jerome Schultz
Jerome R. Schultz, 79, of Hoover Beach, NY, died April 17, 2014 at JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL. He was born in Buffalo, NY and lived in Hoover Beach, NY for over 70 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an electrician for Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years, and the New York State Thruway for over 10 years before retiring. He attended St. Francis of Assisi Church in Althol Springs. He was a lifetime member of Southtowns Walleye Association and a founding member of South Valley Hunting Club.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Schultz of Lake Worth; daughters, Jennifer Carney (Michael) of Ft. Lauderdale and Jeanny Ouelette (Keith) of Greenacres; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, Jack, Herb and Tom and Sister, Mary. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda in 2009.
A Memorial Mass will be Friday, April 25, 2014 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Palm Springs, FL.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date in Buffalo.
