Jim W. Jones passed away peacefully with his wife Bonnie at his side on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the age of 85.  Jim was born in Summit, Georgia on July 1, 1936.  Jim was a long-time resident of Palm City, Florida.  Jim W. Jones is survived by his wife, Bonita (Bonnie) Jones, son Bradley D. Jones (Bobbi), Daughter Kathryn L. Thomas (Dwight), Sons Jason C. Jones (Amy), and  Austin H. Jones (Lisa), and five grandchildren, Taylor , Andrew , Ava Rose, Brantley, and Jacob.  Jim is predeceased in death by his parents Carl and Ethel Jones; sisters Wildred Weatherington, and Carlyne Jenkins from Vero Beach, Fl., and son Vernon Dale Jones from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Jim owned Jim's Trim Shop, and Florida Mustang in Stuart, Fl where he restored Antique and Classic cars, and attended car shows.  Jim also liked to rebuild homes, and built a home on a mountain ridge in Brasstown, N. Carolina where he vacationed. for many years.  Jims pride and joy were his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 in honor of Jim W. Jones.  Friends and family are invited to attend a Visitation from 11 am to 1 pm with the family at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City., Fl. Pastor John Thybault will officiate Jim's service at 1 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at their home in Palm City after the service.
