Joan Broedling, 98, of Stuart, Florida passed away peacefully on November 29, 2019.

Born in Connersville, Indiana, she was married in 1943 to James Broedling who was serving in the USN. While continuing his service, they lived in Florida and New Jersey before raising their family in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Upon retirement they lived in Silver Lake, Ohio and Stuart, Florida. Joan was a resident of Stuart for 38 years.

Joan was a devoted wife and mother providing her family a loving home. She enjoyed bridge, gardening and sewing. She was a friend to everyone and loved to entertain.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years James Broedling. She is also predeceased by her son Jere Broedling. She is survived by daughters Jennifer (Doug) Fread and Josephine (Byron) Carper, grandchildren Cori and Greg Broedling, James and Erik Graham, Kevin and Kimberly Fread and six great grandchildren.
