Obituary of Joan Maine

Joan V. Maine, 82, of Palm City, FL, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the Martin Hospital South, Stuart, FL. She was born in Union City, NJ and had been a resident of Palm City for 31 years coming from Hollywood, FL. Before retiring, she had been owner/bookkeeper of a local gunite company.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Rod V. Maine; her daughter, Linda Parton and her husband Donald; her son, Rod J. Maine and his wife Kay, all of Palm City; her daughter, Joan Welsh of Carthage, TN; daughter-in-law, Barbara Maine; brother Perry Eli and his wife Lois; eight grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Maine, and grandson, Kenneth Parton.

SERVICES: There will be a service at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City with entombment in the Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
