Joan Page, 94 passed away peacefully on April 17th. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Charles and Violet Moran. On April 15th, 1944 she married her high school sweetheart Earl G. Page. They were happily married for 58 years until his passing in 2002.
Joan's passion was her family. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, caring sister, and a doting grandmother. Always happiest in the midst of her family, she loved to spend time chatting about current events, keeping up with her children's and grandchildren's busy lives, enjoying a family meal, or gathering for a holiday celebration. She traveled extensively and was most fond of her years on Martha's Vineyard with her parents, siblings, children, and all the many cousins. Those were wonderful years!
Joan is survived by her four children Chip (Marilyn), Stephen (Joyce), Linda (Tom), Joan (Jim), and her dear brother Charles. Her 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren affectionately called her Mama Joan. Her many nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart, too.
Preceding Joan in death was her husband Earl, her sister Roberta, her brother-in-law Jack, and her sister-in-law Patricia. They all shared many, moments of laughter and happy times together.
A memorial Mass to celebrate Joan's wonderful life will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to www.mollyshouse.org.
An online guest book may be signed at www.foresthillspalmcityflorida.com.
