Joan Carol Zimmer Romanovsky, 79, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on February 13, 2019 at her home.

Joan was born in Flushing Long Island, New York on March 13, 1939, to Janet and Benedict Zimmer. She had been a resident of Palm City for 2 years coming from Kissimmee, Florida and previously Piscataway, New Jersey. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband of 56 years William L. Romanovsky Jr.

Before retiring she was employed in banking. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Romanovsky and his wife Phyllis of Southport, NC, David Romanovsky and his wife Christina of Palm City FL and William Romanovsky III of St. Cloud, FL; her grandchildren Matthew and Gianna Romanovsky; her brothers, Jim Zimmer and his wife Peggy of Ormond Beach, FL, Benedict Zimmer of Lebanon, NJ and her sister Janet Wilcock of Valencia Lakes, FL.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Forest Hills Palm City Chapel, 2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL 34990 www.foresthillspalmcityflorida.com .
