My wife, Joanne, quietly slipped away in the presences of her husband, John, on Thanksgiving afternoon.

Joanne spent her last week in restful peace at the hospice facility in Stuart, FL., where she volunteered countless hours for over seventeen years.

Born and raised by her parents George and Margaret Drake, in Stratford, CT, Joanne is survived by her two younger brothers, Lee, retired in Stanley, NC. and David working in New York City. Joanne also loved and cared for two stepsons, Jonathan and Christopher Praskac, while living in Swarthmore, PA.

Joanne had so many fond memories of friends and co-workers, graduating from Stratford High school and managing an x-ray department at Stamford hospital.

Joanne also sincerely thanks her faithful, loving Florida family and friends.
