Obituary of Joe Boyes
Joe L. Boyes, 91, of Stuart, died December 18, 2010, at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart. Joe was born in Sidney, Nebraska and had been a resident of Stuart since 1997, having moved from Tulsa, OK. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during WWII. He had been a Glazier for Safelite Glass Company in Tulsa OK, and had also been a greeter at Wal-Mart in Tulsa and in Stuart.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Helen Boyes of Stuart; daughters, Karen Cole of Stuart and Arla Stoner of Port St. Lucie; son, Robert Boyes of Jenks, OK; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and sister, Alice Stratton of Kerrville, TX. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Kimberly McCue.
A graveside service will be held, 10:00AM, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
Arrangements are entrusted to Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
