John C. Alexander, 94, of Port St. Lucie, passed away on September 2, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.  John was an outdoorsman.  He loved boating, fishing and was very active until his vision started to fail.  Mr. Alexander was of the Protestant faith.

He is survived by his daughter Linda (Dennis) merchant of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandson, John (Jayme) Merchant of Port St. Lucie, FL; Granddaughter, Christen Merchant of Daytona, FL; Great Grandson Devon Merchant of Port ST. Lucie, FL; Great Grandson, John Curtis Alexander

Merchant of Port St. Lucie, FL; Great Granddaughter, Gracie Merchant of Port St. Lucie, FL; Great Grandddaughter, Sophie Ann Merchant of Port St. Lucie, FL; and his constant companion "Pongo".

Predeceased by his loving wife, Betty Alexander and by his parents, John C. Alexander II and Aurel Alexander.

A private family service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, with Chaplain L.C. Campbell officiating. Services will be zoomed and if you would like to join, please provide email address to: chaplainlc@gmail.com
