Obituary of John Cochenour
John Mack Cochenour, 59, passed away December 30 at his home. He was born in Greenburg, PA, and lived in Port St. Lucie for 23 years. He worked for the Florida Department of Corrections at numerous facilities throughout the state. He finally retired from Martin Correctional Institution in 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Cochenour; daughters, Angela Marotta and her husband Joseph Marotta, Lindsay Cochenour; and his beloved trio of grandsons, Joseph Marotta, Jon Marotta and Zane Fisher all of Port St. Lucie.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dorothy and Andrew "Ski" Konesky.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
