John "Jack" D. Chiarelli, 70, of Port Saint Lucie, FL, passed away on Tuesday, February 16th, 2021 surrounded by his wife and daughters.
He was born in Boylston, MA, the son of John Chiarelli and the late Marguerite (Coonan) Chiarelli. He attended Tahanto Regional High School and graduated with the class of 1968. He studied at The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, MA and practiced Pharmacy for 46 years.
Jack grew up in a large, close family with a love for music. He learned to play guitar at the age of nine and was always the entertainment at family gatherings. He played with several bands throughout the years, most recently with McCartney Mania at venues throughout Florida over the past decade. After moving to Florida in 1995, he discovered a passion for golf. He valued his family and numerous close friendships and enjoyed golfing, boating, and traveling with them.
Beloved by all who knew him, he had a big heart, calm demeanor, and positive outlook on life. He was driven and hard-working, taking on any challenge big or small. He could be counted on for anything and everything.
A beloved son, husband, brother, father, and grandfather, he is preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite (Coonan) Chiarelli. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy (Mills) Chiarelli, his father John Chiarelli, his sister Tami Chiarelli, his daughters Carly (Chiarelli) Morrissette, Nicole Chiarelli, and Lindsey Chiarelli, his son-in-law Jon Morrissette, his grandsons Ethan Morrissette and Zachary Morrissette, and a large extended family of aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 26th at 3:00 p.m at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL, 34990.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Molly's House of Stuart, FL. https://www.mollyshouse.org/
Services will also be held in Leominster, MA in May 2021.
