Obituary of John Erichsen
John L. Erichsen, 65, of Port St. Lucie died July 11, 2008 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce, Florida.
Born in New York, he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 20 years coming from Milford and Cooperstown, New York.
During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Maine Corp. He was a member of the American Legion.
Before retirement he was deputy and sergeant for 18 years with the St. Lucie County Sheriffs Department.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years Karen Erichsen; a daughter Kim Gross and her husband Shane and a son Eric Erichsen and his wife Becky all of Port St. Lucie; a sister Valerie Camillone of Monroe, NY and 8 grandchildren.
SERVICES: There will be a memorial service at 1:00 PM on July 27, 2008 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with Pastor Jim Mory officiating. There will be military honors provided by the U.S. Marine Corp. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
